ABOUT US
EM Pumptech AB was founded in 1992, by the former employees of Jönköpings Mekanska Werkstad AB (JMW), Sture Ekström and Jim Moberg. Together they share over 60 years of experience within the pump and turbine industry, in which the company operates.
In 2002, the company expanded by merging with two smaller companies in order to deal with a growing rate of clients. This expansion has given EM Pumptech AB the capacity to manage most of the elements on their own, when it comes to pumps and turbine parts.
EM Pumptech AB are currently focusing on the JMW and Gothia pump ranges, and the company is the original manufacturer and the sole producer of the following JMW systems:
• Steam Turbine Driven Cargo Pumps
• Electrically Driven Cargo Pumps
• Hydraulically Driven Cargo Pumps
• Centri Strip Systems
• Hydraulic Systems for Pumps and Winches
Since the start, EM Pumptech AB has evolved into a larger company which is better suited for a wider range of clients across the globe. The company currently has an annual turnover of about 7 million Swedish Kronas (SEK).
